In Budithi village in Central Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh, most of the local residents use alloys to make traditional cooking utensils, as well as articles with contemporary shapes and forms like flower pot and planters. The main alloy used is brass and the shapes are predominantly geometrical, with straight lines and curves creating simple yet striking patterns. Floral designs are also used.
